1870: The great creator of complications
For the first time in watchmaking history, LeCoultre & Cie manufactured calibres with complications in small series. Made possible by the mastery of precision and by the development of new tools.
This revolution allowed great strides to be made in the accuracy and dependability of timepieces. Since that date, the Manufacture has created over 500 different calibres with complications, including over 200 chronographs, over 200 repeaters and numerous grand complications.
